What are deciles and DTSEN?
DTSEN (National Single Socio-Economic Database) is the official data the government uses to choose aid recipients; it replaced DTKS. In DTSEN, every family is placed in one of 10 deciles based on its social and economic conditions.
Decile 1 holds the 10% of families with the lowest welfare; decile 10 holds the 10% with the highest.
What deciles 1 to 10 mean

Being in a priority decile does not automatically mean you receive aid. Each program has a quota, so the lowest deciles come first.

- Open cekbansos.kemensos.go.idUse your phone’s browser and make sure the address ends in .go.id.
- Enter your 16-digit NIKAs shown on your KTP or family card.
- Type the captcha codeEnter the letters or numbers on screen.

Decile does not match your situation?
- Go to your village officeBring your KTP and KK. Ask the village operator to check and update your family data.
- Explain what changedFor example job loss, long-term illness or more dependants.

- Wait for verificationOfficers check your household before the data is updated.
Data is updated periodically, so decile changes do not appear immediately.
Frequently asked questions
What do deciles 1 to 4 mean?
Deciles 1–4 are the 40% of families with the lowest welfare in DTSEN. They are the main priority for programs such as PKH and rice aid.
Can decile 5 still receive aid?
Some programs such as PBI JK are reported to reach decile 5, but lower deciles still come first.
Why is my decile high when I am struggling?
