How to check PIP
- Open pip.kemendikdasmen.go.idOn your phone or computer.
- Enter the student’s NISN and NIKAsk the school for the NISN; the NIK is on the family card.
- Complete the verificationAnswer the question or security code on screen.
- Read the resultYou will see recipient status, payment stage and paying bank if registered.

PIP is paid in three terms: February–April (KIP holders), May–September (education office recommendations) and October–December (other eligible students).
How to get PIP
Students are proposed by their school. Students from families with aid cards (such as KKS or PKH) or listed in DTSEN are prioritised. Tell the class teacher or school operator about your family’s situation.
How to apply for KIP Kuliah
- Create an accountRegister on the official KIP Kuliah site with your NISN, school NPSN, NIK and an active email.
- Activate the accountEnter the registration number and access code sent to your email.
- Complete your detailsFill in family and economic data honestly and upload documents.
- Join selection and finaliseTake part in university admission selection, then finalise your registration.

If the account is not activated within the deadline, PIP recipient status can be cancelled.

Do I need the NISN to check PIP?
Yes. The check on pip.kemendikdasmen.go.id uses the student’s NISN and NIK.
Can a student without a KIP card get PIP?
The school can propose them if the family is low-income, for example listed in DTSEN or holding a certificate of low income.
Can KIP Kuliah be used at private universities?
KIP Kuliah applies to participating universities, including some private ones. Check the list on the official site.
