Who qualifies for PKH?
The family must be in DTSEN deciles 1–4 and have at least one of these members:
- Pregnant or post-natal mother
- Young child (0–6 years)
- Primary school child
- Junior high school child
- Senior high school child
- Person with a severe disability
- Elderly person (age limit per current Kemensos rules)
How much PKH pays
PKH amounts differ by family member and follow Ministry of Social Affairs rules. One family can receive for more than one member, up to a limit. You can see what you receive from your KKS balance or ask your PKH facilitator.
Social media posts often quote different PKH amounts. The safest reference is the official Kemensos announcement and your PKH facilitator.

How to register for PKH
There is no separate PKH registration. Your family must first be in DTSEN — through your village office or the Usul menu in the Cek Bansos app — and the government then chooses recipients by decile, family members and quota. See How to register for bansos.
Removed from PKH or BPNT: why?
Each DTSEN update can remove some families from PKH or BPNT. The most common reasons:
- The family’s decile rose after a data update (its situation was judged to have improved).
- No PKH member remains, for example the child finished high school or the elderly member passed away.
- Civil registration data (NIK/KK) does not match Dukcapil records.
- Program obligations were not met, for example a child stopped attending school.
- A family member became a civil servant, soldier or police officer.

Documents to prepare
- Electronic KTP of the family caretaker (usually the mother) and head of family
- Latest family card (KK) — every member listed
- Family Welfare Card (KKS), if you have received aid before, for bank payments
